5 Tips for Wearing Jewelry in the Winter

At Shane Co. we have a bit of a love-hate relationship with winter. On one hand, it is filled with hot drinks, glittering snow and twinkly lights. On the other hand, all those bulky clothes cover up our pretty jewelry! Here are our top tips for making sure you can show off your gorgeous jewelry, even on the coldest of days:

1. Dangly earrings are your best friend

If the cold weather is causing you to bundle up with your favorite snuggly hat, don’t let that keep you from styling your ears! Choose a dangly pair of earrings with some sparkle and you’ll be sure to turn heads!

2. Get creative with your stud earrings

If you have a dazzling pair of earrings that you just can’t bear to hide all winter, get creative and use them for another purpose: a brooch! Just securely affix them to your scarf or sweater and you’re good to go.

3. Long necklaces are your other best friend

There are plenty of cardigans and turtlenecks around to keep you warm this winter, so make sure you also have some long necklaces on hand! Long, layered necklaces are a perfect way to accent a winter outfit and make sure your jewelry is seen.

4. Get a pair of fingerless gloves

You know those cute little fingerless gloves with mitten tops that fold on or off as you need them? Get a pair! You can keep your fingers toasty when you need to, and show off your pretty rings the rest of the time.
