At Shane Co., we’re always looking to offer unique gemstones that stand out and bring something special to our customers. Recently, we were excited to add lab-grown diamonds to our collection. Now, our customers have the choice between stunning natural diamonds and lab-grown ones, depending on their needs and preferences.
We are now proud to introduce two new lines of lab-grown diamonds. Learn more about these diamonds and how their specialty facets affect their brilliance, offering the ultimate shine.
What Are Diamond Facets?
All diamonds have facets, which are small, flat surfaces located on the stone. Diamonds are typically cut with a specific arrangement of facets. They work like small mirrors that reflect and refract light, creating the characteristic sparkle associated with diamonds.
Diamond faceting is the intentional cutting of the facets into specific shapes. The goal is to enhance the diamond’s brilliance with calculated angles and proportions. Diamond faceting is an art that requires expertise and precision to transform a rough diamond into a stunning polished gemstone that captivates the eye.
Padma Lab-Grown Diamonds
Our Padma Lab-Grown Diamond is a glistening, distinctive diamond available in a round shape and a cushion cut shape. It’s certified by the International Gemological Institute, meaning it’s held to the highest standards of authenticity and quality. The standout aspect of this diamond, though, is its romantic inner floral facet pattern.
The beautiful internal design offers a romantic hidden message in this diamond. Padma is a Sanskrit word that means “lotus.” Lotuses are often considered sacred, and represent beauty and growth.
Looking into the Padma Lab-Grown Diamond with a loupe, a small magnifier used by jewelers, you can see the stunning shape of a flower. A similar phenomenon occurs in what are known as “hearts and arrows” diamonds. These optically precise diamonds display “arrows” when looking at the diamond face up, and “hearts” when the arrow is face down. Our Padma Lab-Grown Diamond is similar, but instead of hearts and arrows, it features a beautiful botanical shape.
These meaningful diamonds are specially made for Shane Co. They offer optimal light performance and more sparkle than other diamonds. Plus, they’re environmentally friendly and carbon neutral.
Stargazer Lab-Grown Diamonds
We’re also excited to now offer our Stargazer Lab-Grown Diamonds. These highly faceted diamonds are exceptionally sparkly because they are cut with more facets than a traditional diamond.
These specialty diamonds are cut with utmost precision by artisans using advanced science and art techniques. Due to the skill required to cut these diamonds to perfection, they offer extraordinary brilliance unique to Shane Co. Their fire provides optimal light performance and stunning prismatic color.
The additional facets in these diamonds, as well as their perfect alignment, add to the overall show-stopping appearance. They are also certified by the International Gemological Institute and offer superior sparkle. Our Stargazer Lab-Grown Diamonds are available in oval, pear, and octagon, a new shape at Shane Co.
