Tips for Traveling with Jewelry

Do you have a vacation coming up? If so, take note of these tips for traveling with your jewelry!

Only Pack What You Need

Think about your destination and what you’ll be doing before deciding on what jewelry to take with you. If you’ll mostly be outdoors or on the beach, you probably won’t want to travel with your most prized pieces. Think about bringing less expensive, classic jewelry that you can wear with multiple outfits instead. If you want to make a statement on the sand, throw in a fun statement piece too.

Pack It Carefully

You can purchase a travel jewelry case to organize your pieces, but there are many other options too. Plastic Tupperware, pill boxes and small pouches all work well for storing your jewelry on a trip. Pinterest also has lots of DIY ideas to take note of!

Keep Track of It

Lastly, make sure you know where your jewelry is at all times. When flying, pack your jewelry in your carry-on so it’s nearby and secure. Once you arrive at your hotel, place the jewelry in a safe and always leave the pieces you’re not wearing in there. Taking these steps will help you avoid losing or misplacing your jewelry.
