It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind, but it’s important to set aside time to spend with your significant other and keep the spark alive. Being married myself for almost 27 years, I can promise you it’s the little things you do together that really matter. Here are five creative date ideas I recommend trying with your beau this summer!
Take out a map of your city, close your eyes and place your finger down. Then venture to where your finger drops! This is a great way to explore someplace new and see different parts of town.
Even if you’re afraid of heights (like my husband), you’ll be glad you did this one. It’s definitely worth it, and you can pop some bubbly while you’re enjoying the scenery!
Have dinner with some of your favorite couples and then go dancing. Dating experts say that seeing your partner have fun with others reminds you why you were attracted to them in the first place.
You don’t have to be a hardcore baseball fan to enjoy America’s favorite pastime. Attending a local game is a great way to unwind and spend time together. Make sure to enjoy popcorn and hot dogs while you watch!
Want to do something just plain fun and take advantage of the summer sun? Go on a bike ride! Most cities have a place where you can rent a bike if you don’t have your own.
