Create the Perfect Holiday Wish List: Add to Favorites and Drop a Hint

Get a gift you actually want this holiday season. Add jewelry to your favorites list and share with your family and friends so they can choose something you’ll love. 

As much as we adore the people in our lives, we all know they aren’t mind readers and may need some gentle guidance when choosing a gift for you. Sure, you may need a new vacuum cleaner. You don’t want to unwrap a vacuum cleaner, though. You want to unwrap a sparkling diamond from a white box with a burgundy bow. We’ve got you covered.

Drop a Hint

Have you ever wished you could subtly let someone know what you want without directly asking? Our “Drop a Hint” feature lets you do just that.

Once you find a piece you love, click on it to read the details. In the top right corner of the page, you’ll see “Drop a Hint” next to an envelope icon. Click on it, and you can share the piece with an email address of your choosing. You can also choose to attach a personal message. 

This is a great way to send ideas to your loved ones. We recommend sending more than one piece their way. This way, you can keep some of the mystery of gift-giving alive as you don’t know which one they’re going to choose. 

Share Your Favorites

Curate a full wish list this holiday and send it out to your loved ones. Simply add pieces to your favorites by “hearting” the jewelry you love. To be able to add to your favorites, you’ll need a Shane Co. account. It’s really easy and free to sign up. See how to add to favorites and share your list below. 

Step 1: Log in to Your Shane Co. Account

Once you have a Shane Co. account, you can view order history, check on order status, and manage information and jewelry preferences. To log in or sign up, go to “Sign In” at the top of our website. From there, you’ll be prompted to enter your current username and password or create an account. 

Step 2: Favorite a Piece (or Two, or Three…) 

Now that you’re logged in, you can start finding your favorites. Browse through our selection and click the heart icon on anything that catches your eye. If you want more information before deciding if you want to favorite a piece, click on the product to read more details. You can also add to your favorites after this step by clicking on the heart icon on the image.

As you favorite items, you can even select details like your ring size, an engraving you want, or other available customizations. This feature is helpful if someone is purchasing a gift for you and doesn’t know your size or the exact details you would like included. 

Step 3: Go to Your Favorites

Once you’ve selected all your favorites, you can view all your top picks by clicking on the heart icon at the top of our website. From here, select “View All Your Favorites.” You’ll land on a page that says “[Your Name]’s Favorites.” You can go ahead and add your favorites to your bag to purchase, or you can share your list with loved ones. See below for details on how to share your favorites.

Step 4: Share Your List

While on your favorites page, check out the share button under “[Your Name]’s Favorites.” Type in the name and email of the person you want to share your list with. You can include a message if you want, like “Christmas gift ideas for me.” You can also just copy the link at the bottom of the page if you want to share another way, like in a text message.
