From swapping out your sparkling natural diamond to one a bit bigger, to changing your engagement ring setting to something with a little more sparkle, all is possible with Easy Trade-Up Program℠.

Whether you’re looking for a surefire gift, celebrating a milestone, or simply wanting to change things up, the Shane Co. upgrade program is the perfect solution for those looking to upgrade their jewelry collection.

How Our Trade-Up Program Works

At Shane Co., upgrading your jewelry comes down to two simple options:

Option 1: $1 More

When upgrading, your new piece only needs to be $1 more than what you originally paid. You’ll receive full credit for your original purchase price and only pay the difference.

This applies when you trade up your:

• Loose natural diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and semi-precious gemstones (e.g., amethyst, garnet, peridot, topaz, citrine, and aquamarine)
• Natural diamond, ruby, sapphire, emerald, and semi-precious gemstone stud earrings
• Presentation proposal rings

Example: If your original diamond was $1,000 and you choose a new one for $2,000, you’ll pay $1,000.re

Option 2: Double Up

When upgrading, your new piece must be at least double the original purchase price. You’ll still receive full credit for what you originally paid and only pay the difference.

This applies when you trade up your:

• Loose lab-grown diamonds
• Lab-grown diamond stud earrings
• Jewelry with lab-grown diamonds; jewelry with natural diamonds or gemstones, including semi-precious gemstones (excluding pearls); and all-metal jewelry without stones

Example: If your original setting was $500 and you upgrade to a $1,000 setting, you’ll pay $500.

What Makes Our Upgrade Program Different?

While most jewelry companies have some sort of trade-in policy, there are some that don’t have a program at all. If a company does offer a trade-in program, it’s likely that you will receive credit for the piece at its current value, not the original purchase price.

At Shane Co., we will offer your original purchase price as credit toward your new purchase when you trade up. The only items not included in our Easy Trade-Up Program are pearl jewelry and non-jewelry items.

You can upgrade a different piece of jewelry or the same piece each time because, with our Easy Trade-Up Program℠, there’s no limit to how many times you can change your mind or your style.

Start off with a 0.50 total carat weight pair of natural diamond stud earrings, and then on your next anniversary, upgrade them to 1.00 total carat weight!
