    How to Upgrade<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can upgrade a variety of things, from loose diamonds and colorful gemstones<\/a> to stud earrings<\/a> and engagement ring settings<\/a>. Each piece of jewelry has its own qualifications and specifications for eligibility, as well as price points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Natural Diamonds & Colorful Gemstones<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    When it comes to upgrading natural diamonds and colorful gemstones, you will receive full credit of the original purchase price toward the upgrade. However, your new stone must be at least $1 more than the original purchase price to qualify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once you find the new stone you\u2019d like to upgrade to, you will only pay the difference from what you originally paid. For example, if your original stone was $1,000 and you would like to upgrade to a new stone that is $2,000, you will only pay $1,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note: upgrades are not available for lab-grown diamonds and jewelry with lab-grown diamonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Jewelry<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Jewelry made with natural diamonds and gemstones and jewelry made entirely out of precious metals, like engagement ring settings, are eligible for upgrade. You will receive full credit of the original purchase price toward the upgrade. However, the new piece must be double the original purchase price. Once you find the perfect new piece, you will only pay the difference from what you originally paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For example, if your original setting was $500 and the new setting you\u2019re interested in is $1,000, that means you\u2019ll pay $500 for the new setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What Makes Our Upgrade Program Different?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    While most jewelry companies have some sort of trade-in policy, there are some that don\u2019t have a program at all. If a company does offer a trade-in program, it\u2019s likely that you will receive credit for the piece at its current value, not the original purchase price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    At Shane Co., we will offer your original purchase price as credit toward your new purchase if you\u2019re trading in natural diamonds and colorful gemstones or any kind of precious-metal jewelry, including sterling silver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can upgrade a different piece of jewelry or the same jewelry each time because with our upgrade program, there isn\u2019t a limit to how many times you can upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
