"Before I came to Shane Co. I visited two other stores for my engagement ring. Both stores did not provide me with that “knock your socks off” customer service. They couldn't remember my name let alone make me feel like I was more than an ATM. Shane Co. was and is different. The experience I had with my sales representative was unlike any other I have ever had. I am writing this letter on behalf of Tera Johnson at the Overland Park, KS store, as I feel very strongly that she needs to be recognized for her outstanding customer service. She is the reason that we will forever be in the Shane Co. family. She was amazing and made me feel like she was there for us, not just a paycheck. She cared about what I wanted as well as helped us decide what was best for us. She never once made us feel pressured into buying the ring. She took over 2 hours making sure I had everything that I wanted and when I didn't see it in the store she ordered it in from another store for me to look at. She emailed me and called to give updates. I had some ideas of how I wanted to make it special and she gave me some great ideas. This helped me decide hands down that Shane Co. was where I wanted to invest my money for a ring. I really feel as though I have a friend in the diamond business. Tera Johnson at Shane Co. will forever be remembered in one of the special days in my life. Thank you Shane Co. for being different than the rest and standing behind your values and customer service."

Wazhma was great from the moment I came into the store. I was very nervous at first with the whole process, I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure if I would find it there. She took her time to show me educate me in the "4 C's" of a diamond, find out what my fiance was looking for and what price range I was comfortable with. I had found what I was looking for the day I came in I couldn't have been happier and more at ease with my decision.
Wazhma and Shane Co. were great even when I had to change the ring style that I had originally picked. My fiance's sisters had found out more details on what she wanted to get and again, and Shane Co. had EXACTLY what she was looking for. I was able to get her the perfect ring. And now she loves it!!

Within seconds Marianne R. came right up to me and introduced herself and asked what I was looking for. I told her an engagement ring for my girlfriend. She asked a few more questions about style and budget, and I swear she fricking nailed it first time, she found exactly what I was looking for. Rock On Marianne!! She asked when I wanted to pick it up (they have to set the diamond which could take a day or two), and I said 5 minutes. Buh Bammm! She rocked it! I was there for less than a hour!!! I got even more than I thought was possible!"

Early in September I was looking for the perfect engagement ring for my fiancée. I was under a fairly tight budget and was looking for the best possible ring I could afford. I had previously been to 3 other jewelry stores before going to Shane Co. When I entered Shane Co.'s location in Overland Park, KS near Kansas City, my intentions were still just to look at options for engagement and not yet to purchase. I was greeted by Kevin Crandall and he took me under his wing for at least 3, possibly 4 hours that day. He started from the beginning in explaining all the education involved about diamonds and what makes diamonds stand out and what doesn't. We went through a good number of individual diamonds one by one, comparing and contrasting, looking at different diamonds under different lights, in just about every possible combination I could think of. We finally whittled down our options to about 2 or 3 possibilities, and finally I chose the perfect diamond. Kevin then picked out the perfect engagement band that was actually something I did not expect to purchase, but it simply looked too good not to pass up. When all was said and done, I was only slightly above my intended budget, but the set Kevin put in front of me was too perfect of a deal not to pass up. Despite my original intentions, I ended up purchasing the engagement ring that day. My fiancée could not have been happier with the ring! She still can't get over how much she loves it!
If you are going to Shane Co. in Overland Park near Kansas City, only good things can happen if you are greeted by Kevin Crandall. As I mentioned above, he is an exceptional salesman and we established a great rapport within minutes. The great thing about Kevin is that he will actually work with you into patiently whittling down possibilities to the absolute perfect one. He is a big into helping YOU the customer find what YOU think is the most gorgeous diamond. He patiently guides you along and offers suggestions. He is careful not to make decisions for you but rather in making you the customer choose and eliminate options for yourself. This adds a tremendous feeling of comfort when you finally get to that perfect diamond because you know it was all to your own taste and nothing was pushed or forced on you. He is a genuinely kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, patient and fun salesman.

John - ShaneCo.com Customer "The hubbs and I decided to make things a little more official by buying wedding bands. We started at Arden Mall yesterday but when I started trying on rings, Khanh felt that I needed something a little more glamorous. After going to several stores we ended up buying something at Kay but when we got home he still felt like it just wasn't good enough. So he went online and searched and searched some more. We ended up going back to the mall today and to Costco, still nothing was right and in our price range.
We didn't think about going to Shane Co. because it's a bit of a drive from where we live, but since we were spending a good amount of money we thought we should give it a try so I could see all my options. I'm so glad we did!! Our sales person, Mark Duncan, was extremely helpful. He wasn't pushy and very informative, I'm assuming because they don't make commission and are salary based that they can be that way.
I love that you choose the band first and then pick a diamond to go with it, it makes so much more sense when one has a set amount they can spend. All the other jewelry stores tried to push styles we didn't even care for, but I suppose that's what happens when everything is already set and you can't choose what kind of diamond goes on the ring. I loved that Shane Co taught us about the 4-C's and let us look at several diamonds with a magnifying glass before choosing the right one for us. What's really amazing is that when we feel the time is right, we can exchange our diamond for a better one even if it's only $1 more. I can't wait to get a bigger rock! LOL
Also, it only takes 3 days for them to size the ring. All the other stores said it would have taken over a week because of the holidays. I'm picking up my ring on Monday. I'm so excited!"
